Touch is maybe the most important sense we have. Yet, it is used so little nowadays. We live in a tactile deprivation and, by doing so, we miss out on a lot. That's the starting point of Noortje de Brouwer's furniture design bachelor thesis. She is in search for the re-awakening of tactile senses in a personal and theoretical way. The design of the book follows her journey and reflects on the conflict of visuality and tactility.
